I’m not really sure how to say this but there’s no other way of saying but this:
Hey! I’m back!!!!!
Well, 2016 looks like an empty adventures, based on this blog since the last time I updated this was 2015, but really, a lot of things happened in 2016 and slowly but surely I’ll be posting the stories that I got from 2016. Sorry for the 1 year hiatus but the good news is now I want to get back in blogging.
Well I hope that you would still read my adventures! And by the way, happy 2017!
I love red. This is one of the reasons that I am collecting red shoes, red dresses, red lipstick, red wallet and even the protective sleeve of my Kobo reader is red. Haha. (more…)
“I dress up for myself!”
This is what goes into my mind the moment I open my closet to select on what to wear for the day. One of the few things that I miss about being an office worker is the opportunity to dress up for the day; sometimes, I would go that extra mile of being a dress to kill office worker. I dress for myself, that’s enough reason why I love wearing dress, wedges, boots (on rainy days), a little bit shorter skirt and more.
Loving clothes and shoes do mean that I’m a bit of a shopaholic. I love shoes– red shoes, shoes on sale and shoes that I think would be a perfect pair for my new dress. I also love dress, especially those that would be a perfect pair for my new shoes. And then the cycle goes on. 😛
One of the few perks of being a freelance worker is that I do have a lot of time on my own which I could spend on experimenting on cooking and maybe shopping. The cooking part is still a work in progress but the shopping part has already begun. The internet my dear is the key to shopping while glued down to your seat, though I have some slight dilemma about shopping online. (more…)
Aside from blogging, reading and playing soccer, I also love dressing up. I love selecting what dress to wear and what shoes to pair it with and after which, I sometimes put on light (or dark) make up and braid my hair to complete the do. Yep, I still have some feminine side of me even if I’m bombarded with other stuffs going on with my life.

Welcome to Cooking Stilettos!!!!
In here, I’m going to write about my experiments on food, fashion and travel. If you want to know more about me, you can visit my About Page.
I know this site looks a little bit empty, I’m sorry about that but I’ll try my best to fill this up in the coming days. I’ll be writing some new articles here and republish the old ones. I’ve got a ton of adventures that I want to write here and hopefully I’ll be able to publish them soon.
This is my sort of Welcome Message or Welcome Post, so I’m going to tell you the real reason why I created this website:
In case you didn’t know, I have another blog named Inks and Scribbles and in there I’ve written a lot of random posts in the last two years. I created the blog to make myself a better blogger or writer but I wasn’t thinking of what really my goal is in blogging. It seems irrational to put everything there: technical stuffs, short stories, adventures, food, recipe and all other mind boggling randomness.
One day, I decided to revamp that website. I revisited my website’s goals and the value of its name– Inks and Scribbles. It is for my writing and my reading experience. Putting myself in the shoes of my reader, I finally understood why there is a need for separation. I cannot write everything in Inks and Scribbles without filter– it will defeat its purpose.
I also didn’t want to stop writing about the food I’m planning to make, the places I visited and the shopping experiences that I had. I knew I’m not a culinary expert but I’m curious about making food. I love experimenting and want to share it to the whole world wide web. I’m a beginner in these three goals: food, fashion and travel. Certainly, there is a place in blogging for beginners, right? Cooking Stilettos was born out of this new beginning. A new chance, a new challenge and I hope it will live up to its name– Cooking Stilettos.
There, that’s the reason why I created this whole new site– as a platform for me to share my experience in food, fashion and travel. In an ideal scenario, I want people to be inspired by this move. I want them to realize that it’s okay if you’re not an expert yet, it’s okay to begin something today, now. I want to inspire people to do something that they’ve longed of doing. That’s the ideal scenario but I’m still not sure where this blog would be in a week, a month or a year after but all I know is that I’ve made it in Phase 1 and certainly, I’ve done it!
That’s all for today and see you around folks!
