casual dining at casa verde

Good food. Good life. Of course!

I’ve always loved food, aside from the fact that it’s what my body needs, it’s also a good way to shoo away the bad vibes or the stress of the day. Who doesn’t love good food when you’re a little bit tired about what’s going on in your life? Okay, I’m a little bit dramatic here. Sorry about that. If you’re looking for a place to grab a mouth watering back ribs or just enjoy the best shrimp barbecue in Cebu then head on to Casa Verde, an American style casual dining in Cebu.

They have branches in the following location (phone numbers and service hours are also included for your convenience):

A sweet reminder, be there at an earlier time because they really have a lot of customers that some have to wait outside, if no reservations are made. I think the place is packed on weekends and dinner time on Fridays.

We were lucky enough to eat there without waiting because Sugarplum and I love eating at around 8 in the evening, just after the peak hours for dinner time. During our last visit we ordered two of their best seller.

  1. Brianʼs Ribs. Their official website’s description of this, “Once you taste me, youʼll never forget me…
Our best seller! Baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce served with rice and corn and carrot”. Well, this is Sugarplum’s favorite and it’s really a good one. The pork is tender, it’s tasty and it does really live up to its name. 5 stars for this one!  Brianʼs Ribs at Casa Verde
  2. Shrimp On The Barbie. Description from their website, “Marinated skewered shrimps and grilled with a side of harvest rice and seasoned vegetables.” I’m a Shrimp lover, even though I sometimes get an allergy from eating too much shrimp, I’d still eat as much as I like. This for me is the best shrimp I’ve ever tried in my whole life. No kidding! On my next trip to Casa Verde, I’ll surely enjoy this one again. 5 stars and more love to this one!     Shrimp On The Barbie at Casa Verde
  3. Classic Strawberry Shake. Because Strawberry and I love them. 🙂     Classic strawberry shake at casa verde

Well, that’s what we’ve tried so far from this American Style dining place. I’ll surely visit them again, soon and hope to try some other dishes.

The food cost around 200 PHP (~5USD) to 300 PHP (~7USD) , they might be a little bit expensive than other restaurants but their serving and its taste is super worth it. I’m not complaining!
